Help to remove Ragwort from the meadows on the lower slopes of Bardon Hill, a scenic and rural setting away from the quarry site where you can really enjoy the great outdoors

Meeting place

Bardon Hill is an active quarry site, and so requires a password for entry. Transport to the site from Coalville can be arranged by prior arrangement. please email ben.woolley@tcv.org.uk for details

A rare heathland and woodland site in North West Leicestershire, home to a number of uncommon species including the Purple Emperor butterfly and the Charnwood spider. br> br>Owned by Aggregate Industries and managed with Natural England and the Wildlife Trust, this beautiful SSSI site is the highest point in Leicestershire.
