An activity with Richmond Weekday Projects
Activity date: Wednesday 16th July 2025
Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 16:00
We will be working at Beaufort Court in Ham Lands to create a dead hedge. Dead hedges provide essential nesting and feeding habitats for birds, insects, small mammals, amphibians, reptiles and a whole variety of fungi. Dead hedges also make an effective natural barrier to reduce habitat disturbance, soil erosion and compaction from foot traffic.
Meet at the Burnell Avenue entrance to Ham Lands (opposite 1 Burnell Ave) at 10am. Look out for the TCV van. What3words meeting point:///torn.island.rock What3words site location (for those coming later than 10am): ///lifts.moons.areas
