Activity description

This volunteer session will focus on opening up an enclosed path, to improve site access, and the removal of bramble and tree suckers encroaching on the grassland.

Site description

The Copse is home to a combination of acid grassland and woodlands that include a number of veteran oaks. Wildflowers in the summer provide a display of colour and key species such as bats, badgers and many birds call this place home. The many bridal paths and footpaths make this ideal for walkers and horse riders alike.
