Removing and coppicing trees and scrub as part of bay management at Lexden Park. Creating habitat piles with cuttings for invertebrates.

Site description

Lexden Park is a 8.1 hectare local nature reserve with grassland, woodland and an ornamental lake. The grassland which was formerly football pitches is managed to maintain it as a species rich wildflower meadow. Surrounding the grassland on two sides in woodland dominated by oak trees.
