This course runs on Mondays for 5 weeks from 12th January to 9th February 2026 from 10.00am to 14.15pm
This course is designed for anyone who would like to improve their wellbeing and learn some traditional craft skills at the same time.
The course will introduce you different practices to help your wellbeing, the benefits of being in nature, and to the practical skills needed for a variety of traditional crafts. You will learn about: different meditation and stress management techniques, how to make a variety of things from natural materials and more.
This course is FREE if you are in receipt of certain income related benefits; work full-time (37hrs a week) and earn below £25,750 or part-time and earn less than £13.85 per hour; It is £30 for those in receipt of state pension. Otherwise contact us for course fees. Evidence of identity and benefits, pension, or salary must be provided before the course starts.

Hollybush Conservation Centre is a large former farmhouse by the canal in Kirkstall. Volunteers meet here on a daily basis to work on various environmental projects on and off site. It was previously a rhubarb farm.
