Activity description

Potato day and seed swap, with activities for children and fire baked potatoes in the woodland shelter. Cafe 21 at Hollybush will be open all day and we will also have woodwork for sale. A Potato Day is an event where you can buy a wide variety of seed potatoes, which have been sourced from specialist suppliers. Potatoes are sold individually, so you’re not restricted to growing a lot of one type as you would be if you were buying from a shop or seed company.

Site description

Hollybush Conservation Centre is a large former farmhouse by the canal in Kirkstall. Volunteers meet here on a daily basis to work on various environmental projects on and off site. It was previously a rhubarb farm.
