Activity description

This huge wildlife site has a wealth of habitats including wooded areas, hedges and meadows. To maintain the wildflower areas and stop thistles and nettles taking over, we need to cut some areas and rake the material off.

Meeting place

Meet at the Cemetery Gatehouse, Foster Hill Road, Bedford for travel on the minibus.

Site description

Green space around compressor site, outside of the perimeter of national grid site. Comprises wildflower meadow, field to be grazed, woodland area, hedges.
