By The Rivers of Smockmill: there we'll sit down for lunch after tracing the River Tas and its tributary looking for balsam.
If you want to come with us by minibus from central Norwich, first book a place via mark.webster@tcv.org.uk / 07740 899 691 then meet at the corner of Queens Road & Brazen Gate, by the traffic lights next to big Sainsbury's car park, opposite Norwich bus station [ what3words: single.affair.robe ] at 10am. Transport also available from near UEA at 9.15am on request. Or you can join us on site, meet at the Smockmill Common (small) car park, Cargate Lane, Saxlingham Thorpe, Newton Flotman, NR15 1TT. Local Nature Reserve on the edge of Newton Flotman near Norwich. The site sits next to the River Tas and has fen on the river bank plus areas of woodland and grassland in other areas. Reflecting this, the flora is very diverse.
