Activity description

Rhodi clearance in Mallydams Wood. Rhododendron is an invasive non-native species. It spreads rapidly and takes over woodlands creating dense, dark patches where wildlife and native plants cannot survive.

Further info

Access involves some tricky terrain - walk from car park across woodland paths that are uneven and steep in places. Leaky dam tasks in steep sided gill. This is one of the more challenging sites.
