This is a long term project to improve biodiversity on the site. Each week we'll be doing different activities according to the season to increase and improve habitats for wildlife - it could be tree planting, wildflower surveys, seed collection, litter picking, scrub clearance and more.
To travel from Bedford on the minibus, meet at The Cemetery Gatehouse at 9.15am. To arrange local pick up or to meet on site please contact the office.

Join us to help increase biodiversity in the woodland shelter belt. Activities will include coppicing, tree management, clearing glades for wildlife, plant surveys and identification. Tasks will change by season and the weather conditions throughout the year. No experience is required to take part and all tools, training and instruction will be provided. A reasonable level of fitness is required to take part. Tea, coffee and biscuits will available for all volunteers.
