Join us in Luton to help remove invasive Himalayan Balsam from our waterways! We have two Sundays in a row at this location and are working our way along Lewsey Brook. If you are local to the area, please call or email Jen using the details listed below to let us know that you will be coming. Our minibus will arrive at Bramble Road at 10.15am. This meeting point may change depending on how far we get along the brook, so making contact ahead of the day is vital! Please wear suitable outdoor clothing, including long trousers and wellies.
Foster Hill Road Cemetery Gatehouse for the minibus if needing transport from our main Bedford office, or Bramble Road, on the corner by Bramble Close, Luton at 10.15am if meeting us on site. Please see map.

Stretch of brook-waterway, running from Lewsey Park Sports centre and continuing along adjacent to Bramble Close and the Hockwell Ring Family Hub Centre. br>Shallow water course, accessible from the bank in various places. br>Dense seasonal vegetation present on banks. br>Short length of clear and accessible tunnel beneath bridge at Strangers Way.

Transport is available form our main office in Bedford. The meeting point for transport will be the Cemetery Gatehouse, Foster Hill Road, Bedford MK41 7TD at 9.15am. Please let us know if you are coming and need a seat on the minibus. Toilet facilities are available at Lewsey Sports Centre.
