Woodland management to protect rare fern species. Removing invasive species that are crowding out the habitat, blocking light and preventing these special ferns from thriving.

Please get in touch to register as a volunteer first. Please wear outdoor clothes and sturdy boots. All equipment, tools and PPE will be provided. Bring a packed lunch. Session time 10am-3pm with tea breaks and lunch break but it is fine for anyone to finish at lunchtime or leave early (please make sure to tell the leader).
