Come and spend a rewarding day outdoors learning practical conservation skills. Together we'll be creating meadows, building habitats, managing woodland areas and getting hands on with some mini construction- all while helping nature thrive at Kitwell Substation. This is a great opportunity to: - Learn new green skills and gain experience in conservation. - Reconnect with nature and enjoy time in fresh air. - Meet like-minded people and be a part of a supportive, friendly group. No prior experience needed- just bring your enthusiasm, sturdy footwear and a love of the outdoors!
Please meet at the Entrance to the site which is located opposite the Illey Junction. Parking is available on the layby on Illey Junction
Kitwell Substation, National Grid Substation Kitwell Lane Birmingham, B32 4AW
National Grid substation near to Frankley Services (M5). The site is predominantly grassland with small pockets of mature woodland and scrub. There is no public access and a barrier sits across the main entrance.
