Cutting and raking above the lake to maintain the areas as flower-rich open grassland for the bees.

If you want to come with us by minibus from central Norwich, meet at the corner of Queens Road & Brazen Gate, by the traffic lights next to big Sainsbury's car park, opposite Norwich bus station [ what3words: single.affair.robe ] at 10am. Transport from near UEA also available at 9.15am by arrangement (contact mark.webster@tcv.org.uk / 07740 899 691). Site description

A country park for the whole community, around the Queen's Hills development is a vast area of lichen-rich sandy heathland, ideal habitat for some of the country's rarest solitary bees.
