An activity with Biodiversity Action Team (South London)
Activity date: Tuesday 25th August 2026
Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 16:00
We return to Archbishop's Park, this time round to excavate and install the foundations for the plinth of the 'boy with dog' statue that is to be unveiled in the park next month. There are water pipes and tree roots nearby, so we will be carefully excavating the area with hand tools, then lining the area, edging it with small pavers and pouring concrete to create a solid foundation for the 2 tonne bronze statue.
In the Park. The work site is directly in front of the Lambeth Road pedestrian entrance to the park.
