Activity description

Bring your own teddy bear and join Bella Bear on a bear adventure! Walk with Bella from the Ecology Park to Southern Park, carrying out fun activities and games along the way. Collect a stamp in a special Teddy Bear Passport for each game or activity you complete to become and official member of the Teddy Bear Club! Then stay around for our Teddy Bears' Picnic in Southern Park. We will have rugs to sit on in a shaded area and a selection of fruit and some water but please feel free to bring along your own picnic food. The walk starts at 11am from the Ecology Park Gatehouse.

What3words: ---cover.drain.prom br>Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park is made up of four acres of freshwater habitat, made up of two lakes surrounded by marshland that supports a wide range of bird and insect species. Around the edge of the park there is a small woodland area that is dominated by Alder trees, which thrive in waterlogged areas.

We will be starting the walk at 11am at the Ecology Park Gatehouse. If you're late, we are walking along Mudlarks Boulevard, a short way down John Harrison and Way and left into Teal Street to walk to the bridge over the lake into Southern Park. Bella Bear will be fairly obvious! Suitable for all ages of children (we all love a teddy bear!). Children must be accompanied by adults at all times. Please dress for the weather - we will stay in the shade as much as possible and the picnic will be in a shaded area.
