Urban Nature Wellbeing Club – Circles of Life

Activity description

Join us for the final workshop of the Urban Nature Wellbeing Club project. We’ll begin with a gentle walk through the Ecology Park, taking time to reflect on the life cycles of the plants and animals that call this space home. We'll explore the seasonal changes taking place in the natural world and the connections between growth, renewal, and wellbeing. The walk will be followed by a creative session led by Jenny, our local artist. Drawing inspiration from nature, Jenny will guide you in creating a beautiful mandala and a handmade keepsake to take home as a reminder of your experience.

Meeting place

Join us at the gatehouse of The Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park at 11:00 AM. This session is for adults only (18+). Please come prepared for the weather, as this session will take place entirely outdoors. We have a ‘Plan B’ in place for severe weather. Should this be required, we will contact you in advance with further details.

What3words: ---cover.drain.prom br>Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park is made up of four acres of freshwater habitat, made up of two lakes surrounded by marshland that supports a wide range of bird and insect species. Around the edge of the park there is a small woodland area that is dominated by Alder trees, which thrive in waterlogged areas.

The session is open to all adults (18+) interested in learning more about mental health, developing practical wellbeing tools, and connecting with a supportive community. This session is free but booking is essential as only 12 spaces are available.
