An activity with Biodiversity Action Team (South London)
Activity date: Tuesday 10th November 2026
Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 16:00
We are very pleased to be returning to Dulwich Park after many years, to help the 'Friends of' group with the management of the reedbeds around the perimeter of the park lake. The reeds haven't been cut for quite a few years so the reed beds are now very large, so we will be reducing the reedbed cover by 25% in the soutneastern corner of the lake. We will be cutting the reeds at ground / water level, and bagging up all the arisings in bulk sacks for the parks staff to collect.
At the Southeastern corner of the lake from 10.00am, where the boardwalk used to run over the lake
