Making a welcome return to this attractive Leicestershire village green open space. A site of mixed species native broad-leaved trees with open grassland, hedges and well established pond habitat. Our efforts will focus on removing a section of reedmace from the pond, in order to prevent the reed from colonising to much of the open water thereby maintaining a good wetland structure. There will be some ditch vegetation to remove as well.
