At TCV Humber Field Office
We run practical conservation tasks in various locations in Hull and the surrounding area from 9am-4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Transport provided from TCV Humber field office. No experience necessary. The work varies from season to season. In winter you could be tree planting, hedge laying, or creating and maintaining ponds and wetlands; whilst in summer you could be constructing wildlife areas in schools, creating footpaths, making hay, or undertaking invasive species control. If you want to get involved in practical work outdoors, learn new skills (or share old ones!) and work with a fun and friendly group then come and join in.

Set up camp for a day of wildness in the woods at TCV Skelton Grange... Activities will vary from session to session depending on the season and the group - but past Wild Play days have included: Wide games, shelter building, fire lighting, campfire cooking, field games, hammock hanging, wild food walks, woodwork crafts, string making, bows and arrows, stalking and tracking, pyro-carving and charcoal making.
This is a paid event.

We are working to improve parks and greenspaces around Glasgow. Examples of work to be carried out include: âââ¬Ã¢ Sowing wildflower meadows âââ¬Ã¢ Creating community gardens âââ¬Ã¢ Managing woodlands âââ¬Ã¢ Building paths âââ¬Ã¢ Cleaning ponds âââ¬Ã¢ And much more! Volunteering is a great way to gain new skills and experience the different greenspaces around Glasgow. It also provides an opportunity to meet new people from a range of backgrounds. These groups will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10- 3. Volunteers can sign up for one or all the days. Volunteers must be over 16. Free group walk along the seafront - going east towards the Pier or west towards Sovereign Harbour. This group has their cup of tea at a cafe at the turn around point so the overall duration is a bit more than an hour.
