With Hull Road Park Project
At Hull Road Park
Join us for this family friendly volunteering opportunity in Hull Road Park. On Wild Fridays we aim to improve the park for wildlife by creating new nature homes, planting wildflowers, eco crafting, conducting wildlife surveys and more! Most recently we have created an insect hotel, made bumble bee homes and sown wild meadow seed. This relaxed, informal session is great for those wanting to make a difference, meet new people and get outside. The group is diverse open to additional needs and dementia friendly. During our break volunteers can enjoy snacks and hot drinks provided free of charge from the Choose2cafe (if you have any dietary requirements please contact before attending). Do as little or as much as you like, and stay for as long as you wish! Please contact the office for more details. We look forward to meeting you.

With Tree Nursery Volunteers
At Cultra
Do you want to help us grow and nurture native trees for a more biodiverse and sustainable future? Want to meet new people and gain invaluable life skills? Then get involved with us here at TCV Tree Nursery in Cultra. Here at the Tree Nursery, we are always looking for volunteers to help us deliver our mission in helping Northern Irelands native woodlands. The vital conservation work we carry out would be impossible without you. So, if you like the sound of getting a bit mucky and having fun, all while doing good for the environment then this is the place for you! Whether you're new to volunteering or are an expert in conservation, you are more than welcome to help us grow and plant native trees! *Please email tcv-treenursery@tcv.org.uk before attending or to find out more

With Ladywell Neighbourhood Network
At Ladywell Neighbourhood House
Our Livingston Wild Ways Well group meets every Friday afternoon for a gentle wellbeing walk around Ladywell and the surrounding areas. This is a gentle walk, not a hike! As we go we take notice of the nature around us, learn how to name the trees and plants and about the wildlife that shares the space with us. Afterwards we go to the Ladywell Neighbourhood House for a hot drink and a chat.

With York Practical Conservation - Weekend
At TCV York Office (THCC)
We run practical conservation tasks in various locations in York and the surrounding area from 10am-4.30pm on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Transport is provided from Tang Hall Community Centre and the University Library bus stop on University Road. No experience necessary. The work varies from season to season. In winter you could be tree planting, hedge laying, or creating and maintaining ponds and wetlands; whilst in summer you could be constructing wildlife areas in schools, creating footpaths, making hay, or undertaking invasive species control. If you want to get involved in practical work outdoors, learn new skills (or share old ones!) and work with a fun and friendly group then come and join in.
