Activity description

The project will involve some selective clearance work involving vegetation as part of the overall site development for the local community

Meeting place

There will be a 9.30am minibus pick up for volunteers from the Victoria Park Car Park, Granville Rd LE1 7RY. Volunteers wait in the area close to the stone lodge buildings just up from the toilet block. Please reserve your seat on the minibus beforehand by contacting the project lead on either c.forty@tcv.org.uk or 07764 655482 thank you. Alternatively please meet with us at our Evington office LE5 6DE for 9am if this easier. Free safe parking is available at the Evington Park Car Park just opposite the library.

Access the site is situated off Wheatland Road, Birstall LE4 2NH. Those making their own way to the site please park your vehicles on Wheatland Road or if conditions allow you may be able to park on site close to the access gate. Please remember to bring your hi vis branded waistcoats (we will provide where required).
