Activity description
We return to Brockwell Park to complete our winter hedge laying works by installing the last section of post and wire stock fencing in front of the hedgerow to protect it, oppostie the children's playground. After this we will be turning our attentions to the slope in front of the Lido, where we will be slashing down & removing all of the considerable bramble growth on the site, and cutting down the new growth of the unwanted sea buckthorn to ground level. We will also be drilling lots of large holes through the remaining trunks of the buckthorn to encourage them to rot in situ....and provide a habitat for any local amphibians at the same time.
