With Hollybush Wildlife Walks
At Hollybush Conservation Centre
Every Monday the Wildlife Walkers gather to take a walk in one of the wonderful parks and nature reserves of Leeds. The walks aim to be accessible for a range of abilities, with regular routes planned to include at least one wheelchair accessible option a month. The group includes plenty of time to appreciate and identify nature along the way. The routes are usually between 1 and 2 miles, with a cup of tea and a snack provided along the way.

With CLL Nature Counts Volunteers
At Cumbernauld Living Landscape
We meet every Tuesday 10:30-13:00 at different Scottish Wildlife Trust and North Lanarkshire Council wildlife reserves, across Cumbernauld. We will participate in a variety of wildlife surveys to understand targeted species and how we can help them. From pollinator walks to mammal surveys, we will cover a variety of species recording. We may also complete conservation tasks, such as removing invasive species or making homes for nature. Through taking part in these Citizen Science sessions you will gain skills in wildlife identification, meet new people and discover the wildlife that lives in Cumbernauld!

At Longford Park
A project for unemployed women over 16 who are looking to gain experience and confidence to work/ volunteer in the environmental sector and / or those that want to focus on wellbeing and confidence building in a peer support setting within nature. What to expect: Sessions are free and are designed to support women who wish to gain experience for onward employment or volunteering; or those looking for confidence building and nature based wellbeing experiences. We will provide group, peer supported outdoor activities as well as bespoke and 121 support, coaching and mentoring. Join our free sessions for: Wellbeing in nature activities e.g. open water swimming, fire lighting and cooking, natural crafts like willow weaving Practical green skills training e.g. Woodland management, nature ID/ surveying, wildflower and meadow enhancement Peer to peer empowerment Confidence building Bespoke coaching & mentoring Individual employment support available Free minibus transport Refreshments provided

At Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
This month, we invite you to explore Central Park on the Peninsula. Equipped with a clipboard and pen (provided), join us for a reflective walk encompassing both the history of the area and its modern architecture. Our facilitator will guide you in engaging your thoughts and feelings in a playful, artistic way, giving you tools to connect more deeply with your true self and the local surroundings. The session is open to all adults (18+) interested in learning more about mental health, developing practical wellbeing tools, and connecting with a supportive community. This session is free, but booking is essential as only 12 spaces are available.
