    Join our new community food growing project! Learn new skills, meet new people, grow your own food! All tools and instruction will be provided and no previous experience is required to take part. Our first session will be on Tuesday 13th February 2024 and sessions will then run every Tuesday throughout the year from 10.45am until 1.30pm. Please do wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy enclosed footwear. Do bring your own gardening gloves if you have some.     Our annual visit to this attractive Leicestershire village site. Volunteers will be working to selectively remove the end of season wetland bank vegetation growth along a section of Cosby brook following along the Main Street and into 'The Nook'. There will be some uprooting of excess growth combined with a general cut back and removal of material. All material removed from the stream will be stacked in a designated area and left for a few days before collection and removal from site by the local council.
