We have a growing space with accessible raised beds right next to the pavilion building. All tools and equipment are provided. We also go for a nature walk around Rowheath Park whilst we immerse ourselves in the sights and sounds that this valuable green space has to offer. Our annual visit to this attractive Leicestershire village site. Volunteers will be working to selectively remove the end of season wetland bank vegetation growth along a section of Cosby brook following along the Main Street and into 'The Nook'. There will be some uprooting of excess growth combined with a general cut back and removal of material. All material removed from the stream will be stacked in a designated area and left for a few days before collection and removal from site by the local council.
