Meeting at the library at 10am, we go for a gentle walk along local green spaces. In addition to having a chat, we will identify any birds that we see along the way. At 11am, it's back to the library for a brew and a biscuit followed by some gardening and food growing in the library garden. We will also learn about traditional conservation activities and discover how to make our gardens more wildlife friendly.

    Join our new community food growing project! Learn new skills, meet new people, grow your own food! All tools and instruction will be provided and no previous experience is required to take part. Our first session will be on Tuesday 13th February 2024 and sessions will then run every Tuesday throughout the year from 10.45am until 1.30pm. Please do wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy enclosed footwear. Do bring your own gardening gloves if you have some.
