Starting our practical conservation work at the Mountsorrel (Tarmac) Quarry site. Project work is being carried for the Environmental Restoration Team. Site 4 or Broad Hill is where we will start, cutting and removing excess gorse and buddleia to help maintain the establishing grass heathland habitat. We will be able to take the TCV minibus up to the location of our work. There are a network of public footpaths over the site with some lovely views on a clear day.
