Starting our practical conservation work at the Mountsorrel (Tarmac) Quarry site. Our project work is being carried for the Environmental Restoration Team to improve the habitat biodiversity on Site 4 or Broad Hill. Here is we will continue our work of cutting and removing excess gorse and buddleia to help maintain the establishing grass heathland habitat. We will be able to take the TCV minibus up to the location of our work. There are a network of public footpaths over the site with some lovely views on a clear day.
