This group looks after the impressive, mature gardens through a combination of food growing, conservation, woodwork and gardening activities. The group builds on peer support and mentoring, supporting people to build confidence, well being and fitness through gardening type activities. The two acre garden allows lots of opportunity to try out new gardening techniques and enjoy the peaceful 'oasis' that is Oakwood Hall. The group is for people of all abilities and experience, so if you are brand new to gardening, or have 60 years experience. Everyone has something to bring, and something to learn, at Oakwood Hall.
