    Ley Hill Green Gym

    With Ley Hill Green Gym

    At Ley Hill Green Gym

    Activity description

Join us at Ley Hill Community Growspace! At this site we have a number of raised beds where we teach people how to grow fruit, vegetables and herbs. Anything that is grown here can be taken home by volunteers. We also use this space to teach people other skills such as willow weaving, raised bed making, and other things. The Green Gym is a program of gentle outdoor exercise, aimed at getting people outside into fresh air and nature. It is a chance to meet new people, learn new skills, get outdoors, and increase your activity levels - gently! We will provide everything for the session, including gloves, tools, dirt, fresh air, biscuits, and fun. This is part of our Health for Life scheme across South Birmingham, kindly funded by Mondelez. Here, we also work in partnership with St Bartholomews Church and Holloway Hall. If you want to learn more, come along to a session and meet us! It is free to attend, and you can stay for as long as you like. You can also email Laura with any questions you may have.
