With Biodiversity Action Team (South London)
At Brockwell Park
We return to Brockwell Park to continue to undertake some very much needed vegetation clearance works from around the third main pond. We will be removing the small self set trees and cutting back the excessive sedge growth, and clearing the bramble which has overtaken whole swathes of the pond edge, blocking the view of the pond from the surrounding paths. We will also be boating out to the island to manage the trees and shrubs on there too.

With Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park Conservation Volunteers
At Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Join our regular Wednesday conservation workdays at the Ecology Park and help the wardens carry out vital management work in the park's different habitats - marsh, meadow, lakes, ponds, shingle beach and woodland. You can just turn up on a Wednesday and don't need to book ahead but, the first time you volunteer, we will ask you to fill out a TCV Volunteer Welfare Form (or we can email this to you in advance if you prefer). You will be working as part of a volunteer team with the park wardens, carrying out tasks such as pond clearing, reed cutting, meadow cutting, coppicing (cutting smaller tree stems), digging and weeding.

With Chatham Place Green Gym
At Chatham Place
Join us every FIRST and THIRD Wednesday of the month at our Chatham Place Green Gym in Northfield. We are a friendly and welcoming group who love to grow our own food in a relaxed environment, whilst enjoying our time in the communal garden, and making new friends. No previous experience is required and all tools are provided. Chatham Place and the communal garden is fully accessible, and has on site accessible toilets. There is also space for indoor activities, which we use during bad weather to ensure we can all enjoy gardening and growing our own food all year round!
