With Biodiversity Action Team (South London)
At Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens
Exciting new development for the Park in 2024! We will be working with LB Lambeth and the Friends of Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens to install a biodiversity garden in an underused corner of the park. Firstly we will be installing recycled plastic revetment to protect existing structures, then we will be bringing in many tons of topsoil to create a series of mounded, flowing planting beds throughout the garden. We will be mulching the beds areas and then installing landscape edging around them. For the final part of our Phase 1 works we will be installing new topsoil and turf throughout the central lawn area of the garden, and planting a diverse range of flowering plants and shrubs in the beds to attract wildlife.

With Network Rail
At Great Stukeley Sssi
This huge site is a SSSI and of value for its particular ecology. It needs careful management to stop it covering over in scrub and bramble, and to encourage the correct conditions for wildflowers and grasses. As part of this we will be strimming off the dense, tough grass cover to lower soil nutrients and allow the slower growing grasses and plants to flourish.
